About PDSecure

What is PDSecure?

PDSecure is a SaaS document security platform that embeds an encrypted QR code into every document you issue. The QR code makes counterfeiting impossible and enables instant verification by anyone, online or offline, using the free PDS Verify app.

What types of organisations use PDSecure?

PDSecure is designed for any organisation that issues identity, compliance or entitlement documents — including government agencies, educational institutions, insurance companies, professional bodies, healthcare providers and legal institutions.

What documents can PDSecure secure?

PDSecure works with any document that needs to be verified — from university degrees and birth certificates to insurance certificates, vehicle licences and permits. Documents are categorised as Tenured (with a validity period) or Untenured (lifetime validity). Visit our Pricing page for more detail on the two categories.

Does PDSecure replace our existing document systems?

No. PDSecure sits as a security layer across your existing systems — it does not replace them. Implementation is designed to complement your current infrastructure and processes.

Verification

How does someone verify a PDSecure document?

By downloading PDS Verify — our free mobile app for iOS and Android — and scanning the QR code on the document. No account is required. The app displays the verified document within seconds.

Does verification require an internet connection?

Not entirely. Online verification displays a full 99.99% visual match of the document including watermarks, seals and signatures. Offline verification confirms the document’s text and secure metadata instantly — making PDSecure effective even in low-connectivity environments.

Is PDS Verify free?

Yes. PDS Verify is completely free to download and use. There is no charge to verify a PDSecure-secured document.

Can anyone verify a document, or only authorised personnel?

Anyone with the PDS Verify app can scan and verify a PDSecure-secured document. No account, login or permission is required to verify.

Pricing and Getting Started

How much does PDSecure cost?

Pricing is structured in two parts — a one-time onboarding fee per document type and per user, plus a per-print licence fee each time a document is generated. Visit our Pricing page for full details and to use our interactive cost calculator.

Do we have to pay the licence fee ourselves?

Not necessarily. Per-print licence fees can be passed on to document recipients at the point of issue — the same way you already charge for the documents themselves. This makes PDSecure potentially cost-neutral for many organisations.

How long does it take to get started?

Our target turnaround from signed-off requirements to a live platform is 48 business hours. The process starts with an enquiry — we then carry out KYC, agree your document requirements and configure everything for you.

Do we need specialist IT resources to run PDSecure?

No. PDSecure is designed to be operated by your existing staff. No specialist IT infrastructure or resource is required to generate documents or manage your account day to day.

Security, Data, Deployment

Where is our data stored?

Your documents are never stored in full on PDSecure’s servers. Only specific document elements that are too large to embed within the QR code (such as photographs or signatures) are stored, solely to enable document verification and reconstitution. All data is held on secure Microsoft Azure infrastructure.

Is PDSecure compliant with data protection regulations?

Yes. PDSecure is designed to meet data protection standards across the jurisdictions in which our clients operate. The platform is configurable to your compliance requirements. Customers processing personal data through the platform are required to enter into a Data Processing Agreement with KG Arjis Ltd.

What happens if a document needs to be cancelled or updated after issuance?

PDSecure gives you full lifecycle control. You can revoke, update or expire any issued document at any time from your dashboard. The change takes effect immediately.

Can we pilot before full deployment?

Yes. Most organisations begin with a single document type or department.

Do we need to migrate historical documents?

No. Organisations can start with new documents and expand over time.

Do we need to replace our current system?

No. PDSecure works alongside existing applications and databases.
